The history of silicon Steel
- Aug 31, 2018 -

1900 British Hadfield (R.a.hadfield) first found that the SI-FE alloy containing si4% has good magnetism. In 1903, Germany and the United States successively produced hot rolled silicon steel sheets containing si1.0~4.5%. 1906 replaced mild steel for the manufacture of motor and transformer cores. 1934 American Goss (N.p.goss) adopted two cold-rolling process to form the preferred-oriented si3% cold rolled silicon steel sheet. 1968 Japan Tiankouku, such as the use of manganese sulfide and aluminum nitride composite inhibitor and using a large low-pressure cold-rolling method, made of high magnetic orientation silicon steel, the material grain orientation more accurate, iron loss and magnetic further improved.
