No orientation of silicon steel sheet cold rolling

Cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel is the billet or continuous casting billet hot rolled into a thickness of about 2.3mm with coils. When manufacturing low-silicon products, the hot-rolled strip is cold-rolled to 0.5mm thick after pickling. When manufacturing high-silicon products, the hot-rolled strip after pickling (or first after 800~850℃, then pickling), cold-rolled to 0.55 or 0.37mm thick, in the hydrogen-nitrogen mixing atmosphere continuous furnace 850 ℃ annealing, and then by 6~10% small pressure rate cold-rolled to 0.50 or 0.35mm thick. This low-pressure cold-rolling allows the grains to grow during annealing and reduce the iron loss.
